「Nice and quiet」

「Clean rooms, comfy beds, right on the water. 」

「Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room...

「This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.」

「Very disappointed. There were four of us staying in the room and they only gave us three towels. When we called the desk to see about getting more, nobody ever answered. We physically went down to the desk on two different days and no one was there. There was a sign saying they'd be a "minimum of five minutes"... We waited for a bit then left. Had to grab towels from the pool area. The shower door didn't close so it leaked (you could tell this was an ongoing issue because they had tried...

「All aspects of the property - from the lobby to our suite - were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly sky and helpful, even in the face of some very demanding guests! Our kids especially enjoyed the pool, as kids tend to do. The gym was also nice, although we don’t use it very much - we were too busy exploring areas outside the hotel! (Note - The hotel’s location is a perfect base for exploring all parts of northwest Michigan, from Sleeping Bear Dunes to Downtown Traverse City to...

「We booked the room thinking we were going to be on the resort property but we were a mile down the road at these very outdated condos. The room had dead bugs, dirty bedding, and patio door that was lacking the greasing or maintenance to allow it to open easily. There was no box breakfast and beach club that looks inviting did not have any bar or grill. It rained earlier in the day so they closed it down for the whole afternoon and evening. 「This was the grossest room I’ve ever stayed in. I wasn’t obviously expecting the Ritz, but I was expecting some level of cleanliness. There was dried pee on the toilet seat, hair inside the toilet bowl, the walls had grease marks all over. The room also reeked of cigarettes. Spiders in the corner and the sink faucet was broken. Unfortunately we didn’t switch because I felt like the others would’ve been similar and we had a party to get to immediately upon check in, so there was no time for us to...
