「Room was not very clean and beds were old and uncomfortable」

「My family and I enjoyed our time here very much! The room and main hotel were clean and well maintained. The pools and hot tubs were all wonderful and not grimy or overly chlorinated. The staff were extremely attentive and well prepared as it was a very busy week with guests. We 100% will be coming back.」

「The staff was exceptional and promptly called to let me know I had left an expensive belonging behind. The room was clean enough, but there were visible stains on the bedding and lampshades. I would highly recommend asking for a second floor room, as our upstairs neighbors were up all hours of the night, therefore we were as well. In all, it was a safe inexpensive place to stay in a very expensive town.」

「This was perfect for a small group that isn't looking for all the frills. We rented a 1 room suite....a twin and pullout sofa in one room, and a queen in the other, plus everything a kitchen would have and a FULL size fridge which was awesome. We all loved the pool, loved having the grill to cook lunch and the firepit at night. There was a little deck off the entry which is where we put bathing suits to dry and all our floats, pool stuff, etc. The wifi is a little spotty but still worked. ...

「The other reviewers are correct, the exterior of the property is nice, but the rooms are pretty beat up. We enjoyed our stay though, it was quiet and there is a beautiful view of the marsh with the open ocean beyond. I recommend room 214, there’s a balcony with the view.」

「The Mariner is a great place to stay. It is simple and clean. Nice location for restaurants but it is not in the center of Ogunquit. It is not on the beach but has a wonderful view of the marsh. It is a family place so there are plenty of children to enjoy.」
