New owners were taken over, so the place was kind of rundown. The room was definitely clean. The staff was friendly, but definitely definitely almost like the Bates Motel.

This was dusvusting. We went in looked and left prepaid through Expedia and both the hotel and Expedia refused to give our money back! I took a video! Stains on the bed ! Bugs ! May I continue! Gonna puke!enough said !

The pool was broken! Staff was super nice!!! We were woken up by a turkey attacking the owner at 6 am!!!! It was pecking at all the doors!!! She chased it with a broom and he went after her!!!

The pool was not operational and had not been when I booked the room. I contacted Expedia as the pool was the reason I booked this Motel ( for my Grandchildren). Expedia said they would contact the Motel to ask about a discount credit as my booking was non refundable.

There was a hole on bathroom door and mold in the entrance to the bathroom. The sheets had bloody fingerprints on them. Pool was closed. The staff was very unprofessional when we asked to checkout and get refund they refused said I would have to contact expedia. Don't book!

We booked this sight unseen at the last minute when we decided after dinner that we didn't want to drive all the way home. This property could be great due to it's location, but needs a complete overhaul. Paying over $100, off season, for a room that had rust spots on the sheets(at least, I hope it was rust), all sorts of huge stains and crusty spots on the carpet, no in-room coffee, the toilet rocked side to side, and had the tinyest shower I've ever seen, was too much. You had to step over the toilet to get into the shower. There was a missing board in the wall between the bathroom and the bed. That being said, it was relatively close to Salisbury beach on one side and Newburyport on the other. The gentleman who checked me in said that he had bought the business back in June and would be starting to update things soon. He was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked.

Shower had hair on walls, bathroom outlet didn’t work. Bed was extremely crooked, like on a slant. Had conjoining room (secured with small lock and furniture) with neighbors who were up all night despite an empty property, we did not need to be right next to this guest. Spend the extra $30-40 and get a motel in the $100+ range. I’m not picky and have stayed at cheap motels, but this place was awful and the only motel I will not return to.

The only thing that I liked was the rate per night. The rooms are not very clean, the pool was out of service and closed by the town inspector. There was a yellow jacket nest in the ceiling by my door . I am very allergic to bees of any sort, I requested a room change and the owner did put me in a different room. The room itself wasn't filthy, just needed a bit more effort into washing the bathroom and the inside of the microwave was pretty gross. The proximity to the beach was great, and the 1 employee that takes care of everything tried his hardest to be accommodating.

I thought I knew what to expect when going to a motel in Salisbury and my hopes were not high. Last minute gets you last things available so I wasn't expecting much. However. Filthy rooms , people CLEARLY on drugs as he was bent in half frozen then began wandering the property. I was told he's a more permanent resident and not the only one. Tried to go to the pool because it was a main reason this place was chosen (pictures of motel are catfishing) but the pool was so bad when my partner jumped un he couldn't be seen at bottom. It was so green and the bottom had so much algae . The pump was never on at any point of our stay. Efforts were made but pouring in oxygen powder and scrubbing the residue off the side doesn't clean a pool. No pool vacuume just nothing. Also other guests of motel kindly told us which room we can get drugs at in the other motel across the street so that was fun too. A rooster kindly wakes you up at around 5am and continued to crow throughout the day. We saw about 10 people in a room that seemed like there may have been paid for activities happening but at that pt I'd have expected as much. I went to store and got some bleach and disinfected our room and the one good comment is it seems the beds are newer and I didn't see droppings. Thankfully because this place is also a NO REFUNDS establishment . We saw a few other guests with similar experiences and they stayed outside alot and stayed up very late which didn't bother us but felt the same as we d
