Rainbow Falls can only be seen by hiking the 2 additional miles from Devils Postpile (0.4 mi) from the trailhead. The only way to reach the trailhead is by taking a shuttle inside Devils Postpile National Monument in Mammoth, California. The hike is easy but fairly open so it can get pretty hot in the summer, but the view of Rainbow Falls is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend making the trip if you’re in Mammoth. "The place is really simple, but it was comfortable, quiet, and I had everything I needed. The floors could have been swept a little more, and maybe an ice machine would have been helpful. I was there 3 days and didn't see an employee once; however, they had everything covered up front, and I really didn't need anyone! Amazing! I would stay here again!"

"Nobody is properly managing how guests are parking here - instead it turns into a free for all - be prepared to argue with other guests who parked like crap - blocking spaces. In short we had to fight with at least two guests because we were forced to park in a way that blocked them all in (which was the instructions the manager gave us because they didn't tell these guests AHEAD OF TIME to park better). Romantic Glamping by Yosemite!

10/10 Excellent

"The property was very clean, quiet and private. Every detail was thought of for a refreshing "glamping" experience. Wood was provided as well as eating and cooking utensils. I slept great and enjoyed a private campfire every night; just me and the sound of crickets. Highly recommend the experience to anyone looking for a little over rough camping. No heat and no AC but plenty of blankets make for a wonderful Spring or Fall experience. I will definitely stay again."

"Check-in was easy. When we opened the door to our room we were very surprised, it was a very large room, with a couch and a desk. The lighting in the room was excellent, it even had can lights in the ceiling which was great. The room included a closet, safe, refrigerator, Kureg type coffee maker, and microwave. The sink was in the bedroom area, which was nice because someone could be in the bathroom while the other person used the sink. The bed was comfortable and it had extra pillows too. The Wi-Fi was good, but the TV didn't have a way to stream anything to it. Only problem with the room, we were in the 2nd floor, and it was very noisy when someone walked in the room above us. But we didn't hear outside noise, or anything from the hallway. One the people settled in above us, it was very quiet. Breakfast was just OK. It didn't provide many options. Only bread was whole wheat, and when toasted was like cardboard, dry and tasteless. So we ended up going out for breakfast. I would stay here again. "
