「We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great.」

「Love Yosemite but not the crowds? I get to the park 2-3 times a year, for 25 years now. Foresta is a gem, well off the beaten path for most visitors - but 15 minutes from the valley. Quiet! Wonderful hikes, literally outside your door. Foresta Falls are about 20 minutes away, and they'd be the centerpiece of a park anyplace other than Yosemite. Continuing on that trail takes you out to overlook the Merced River canyon. Another hike (on First and Second Streets) takes you on a loop around the...

「Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our main problem was with communication with the manager of the property. We apparently were supposed to receive check-in instructions via email which we never did. I reached out to the contact phone number the day of arrival and left a voicemail but never heard back. We arrived approximately 9pm on our check-in date and fortunately the back door had been left unlocked, so we went on it. The next day we found a "registration" office, and learned we should have...

「Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again.」

「Great chalet in the mountains of yosemite! Kids loved the wood stove and the loft. Laundry was great. Checkin was delayed due to staffing issues, but they took care of us in the end. Vintage stove and sink bring challenges if not used to operating, but the charm is wonderful and we were able to cook all our meals. Definitely would stay again! Super cozy feels!」

「The home is spacious and clean. The beds were quite comfortable and the property manager was exceptional. When we arrived on the first night of our stay with steaks ready to grill, we were unable to get the gas grill going. Within 15 minutes he brought us a replacement. Our dinner plans were saved. 「Google Maps worked well for us. The place was very clean. Check-in was pretty easy. Wonderful neighborhood. There is a small grocery store nearby that saved us a trip outside the park. The only issue was that AC would not work, it got hot inside the property in the evening and at night. We just opened some windows and handled the heat.」
