"First, reading the negative review, I was worried. OMG, when we arrived to check in the guest service workers, were so friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was facing the mountain view, which was incredible. I had read reviews, so I knew to make reservations for mealtimes we wanted, which worked perfect. One of the hostess Nina was so positive seating us near a window where on the 1st morning there were deer in the meadow. Our waitress who we had the entire time was Caralien was so attentive made breakfast so enjoyable. The elevator operators so courteous, housekeeper cleaned are room every day. We went off season, so there is basically only one other place open for food, near the visitor center Degnan's kitchen delicious sandwiches and soup and the workers so accommodating. I recommend this hotel its history, location is a must. We were able to see everything and hike trails without leaving the park. When driving into the park it was snowing and there are no side railing or mile markers. We rented a AWD vehicle so we had no problem driving in the snow. Looking out our window at half dome, seeing waterfalls, watching deer. It was amazing. Landing in Fresno we took an hour detour to Sequoia National Park, since we couldn't check in our room till 4pm. Was so worth it, then we drove to Ahwahnee. Enjoyed breakfast the next day and went to Mirror Lake, checked out El captain, Bridal veil Falls went to Tunnel view a must. Then we went hiking Mariposa Falls, so hard."

"From the moment we arrived, the property was spotless, spacious, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we could possibly need. This home has truly set a new benchmark for our future VRBO stays. We especially appreciated the convenience of having more than three bathrooms and knowing the hot tub was cleaned upon our arrival. We had no communication on site with service, but did not need anything. Communication prior was exceptional.One note: while the bunk beds are perfect for children, they may not provide adequate comfort for adult guests. And, would recommend additional towels in bathrooms specific for hot tub use."

"My husband and I stayed here for our Yosemite elopement. Overall I would stay here again! We had a few family meals and the space was perfect for hosting. The place wasn’t as clean as I would have liked but you are in the mountains so I still give 4 stars. We accidentally got locked out (so be careful with the locks) and wasn’t able to get in touch with the host and had to climb through the window lol. The view off the back deck is amazing and the property is easy to access (no crazy stairs like some other places in Yosemite west). There are quite a few stairs in the place but it wasn’t too bad. Also there is an extra bedroom that’s not pictured in the listing! "

"The house failed on cleanliness. It is obvious that their washing machine has mold because every single thing that gets washed smelled like mildew and they tried to cover it up by using more dryer sheets. The bedding and towels smelled disgusting. The shower curtains have black mold on them, the sink had dried toothpaste in it and some of the pans in the cabinet were dirty. That’s just touching the surface. I would highly recommend people bring their own towels and bedding. One of the comforters even smelled like urine."
