We stayed in the couples tent, and overall, it was a decent experience. The bed was very comfortable, and surprisingly, I didn’t feel cold at night even though it was a tent.
That said, there are a few downsides. The shared bathrooms were not maintained properly during our stay. The showers were dirty—there was hair left in the stalls, and no one cleaned it up for at least two days. It was pretty disgusting.
As for the food, the dinner at the on-site restaurant was disappointing. I was surprised to hear other guests raving about it, because it didn’t live up to the hype. I ended up sticking with the three-egg omelet and granola for breakfast, which were the highlights for me. For dinner, I ordered the NY steak, and my girlfriend tried a few different meals. I tasted them all, and honestly, everything was average at best—a waste of good ingredients and money.
Our overall rating: 7/10 – great for the nature and peacefulness, but food and hygiene need serious improvement.
