"Our trip was fabulous. We highly recommend Haus St. Anton. I never write reviews but was compelled to after the wonderful service and treatment we received. When there weren’t any taxis available and we feared we would miss our train back to Tokyo, the owner, without hesitation, kindly offered to drive us and our 1-year-old to the station. "Well located hotel located near several onsens and close to the main street. Not too far from the moving sidewalk to the lifts (although there is an unavoidable very steep hill). We booked a room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and of a decent size. Main downssides were the significant premium we paid over other hotels, which we in retrospect have trouble believing was justified, and the very poor western breakfast options.
