"I have never had a bad stay at this hotel. I’ve visited this hotel 3 times since July of 2025. This last stay I had mistakenly hit the button for Single Smoking Room. When I discovered my mistake, the front desk staff quickly sorted me, and didn’t charge extra for a double room Non Smoking! The restaurants here are also delicious!"

Of course, the best part of this hotel is that you can just walk out of the hotel straight to the ski lifts. "I really enjoyed my stay, however getting there was challenging, and I couldn't find the email to ask questions on their website. I ultimately took a risk and was able to hop on a bus from Karuizawa, but online it mentions no reservations for buses, and I could not find that there even was one to the resort. If their email had been listed (and perhaps it is not due to an internet issue through the US), I'd have had less stress getting there. Otherwise, I only recommend others research more before going here so they know the customs more - tattoos are not allowed, and I had to book the private onsen."
