Located on the Onsen road, with access to two public baths outside of the hotel, two very well equipped Onsen within the hotel, and the option to reserve a private Onsen as well. This was the last place we stayed during our honeymoon trip to Korea and Japan — we had the "Japanese Style with Open Air Bath B (Take)" room which was massive and featured an outdoor bathing area with piped in hot spring water. We had an amazing host who explained everything about the room, a spectacular dinner was included, and overall a really magical evening. Definitely worth the cost. Really enjoyed my 6-night stay here. It really is a traditional Japanese hotel and experience and loved the friendly and helpful staff, and the location is just a short 10 min scenic stroll across the river to the bus/train station. Didnt know what to expect but the Japanese style tatami rooms were cosy and comfy, and the outdoor onsen was just what was needed after a day on the ski slopes. Impeccably clean, nice hot onsen, super helpful front desk. Cozy comfy beds. We don’t try the food but we will next time because it smelled delicious. *expedia site is WRONG - it’s not a 3 minute walk to ski resort - It’s a 30 min drive.

Everyone on staff made us feel welcome from the start. Aziz and both ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and lovely people. We will always remember them abs their friendliness and how nice our stay was. Will stay here again. The onsen is fabulous!

Super relaxing and tranquil hotel. We enjoyed our private onsen and were very happy with our room. The futon is not for us as we learned after our first night. Was too hard. So just be aware of that. Otherwise perfect. We happily would come back.

Top Notch facility. Excellent buffet, in which they came up with innovated ways and controls due to the COVID situation. Staff eager to help with anything. Location was nice as it was right on the river. Plan to go back during the Spring or early summer as scenery is spectacular.

The property was gorgeous and the amount of bath options was amazing, many complimentary amenities included, and the spa was perfect as well.

Staff is super helpful. The hotel is not fancy or modern but it all works great for a ski trip. Shuttles to and from the train station and the slopes, rental shop for clothes and skis on site. Plus a great onsen as well. The breakfast was really good. While there is no onsite restaurant for dinner, there is a really good and super affordable restaurant less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Highly recommend and would stay there again.
