North Head

This is a modest motel but the interiors had recently been refitted were smart and modern. Great value for money with easy access to the CBD outside of rush hour

Rooms were clean and spotless, the apartment had gorgeous views of the city and in a prime location for restaurant hopping and exploring the city. Staff were very friendly and polite. Would be awesome to have extra parking spots available within the building, but staff directed / gave us access to parking we could use nearby. Would love to stay again next time we are in Auckland, thank you again to the kind and helpful staff

A bit dated and worn (threadbare armchairs), belying the photos online, with a very minimally equipped kitchen (great microwave with crisping feature though!). But, the front desk and housekeeping staff were very responsive and quickly fixed any deficiencies. We were disappointed to find out on arrival that the AC was out of order (a long-standing problem about which we could have been notified to allow a decision to relocate), however a fan was provided, and with a balcony door and windows that opened the room temperature was comfortable. Location was great - a half hour walk to the Viaduct Quay and Ferry Terminal in one direction, and the Auckland Domain in the other, with a huge selection of shops and restaurants along both routes. Overall: clean, safe, very spacious room, conveniently located, and excellent value for the price. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
