"We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay."

"The property was located in the wonderful historic district of older homes within a meandering street of beautiful homes and lush greenery. The Abbington was a well maintained property, the hosts were wonderful, the rooms were great and the breakfasts were delicious. We would definitely recommend this B&B to our friends."

"The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. "

"Large window in 425 had a huge crack down it, but staff knew. I loved the fact that pets were allowed and that you were so proaction of finding good homes for animals."

"We have stayed this hotel before. We really like it. This time, there was a staff shortage. Our toilet ran the duration of our 2 day stay. The front desk told us twice there was no maintenance worker available. When we checked out, we told the front desk again about the toilet. He told us there were no notes related to our room about this issue. He assured us it would repaired. "

"Beautiful hotel overlooking the mountains. The Sunset Terrace is the perfect spot to watch the sunset while having a drink or dinner. Two large stone fireplaces in the main lobby add to the ambiance. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are several restaurants to choose from, including an ice cream shop and gift shops. In my opinion the only place to stay in Asheville"
