"Let's start with getting to the cabin and by no means was this the host fault. The road to the cabin was closed in a section for repair and my GPS took me everywhere except to the correct address . We finally found the place and unloaded for our stay. The place was nice and cozy with 2 bedrooms on the floor you enter, with a bathroom and kitchen, the lower floor was a large room with huge bed and another full bath with sitting area and large TV. We, the wife and myself never used the lower area, instead stayed upstairs in one of the smaller bedrooms. The upper area has everything you need, kitchen, living area, bar to sit at, full bath and 2 smaller bedrooms and a very nice outside elevated porch for morning coffee. All and all this was a 10 out of 10. The only thing we found not the best, but still nice was the bed. The beds seem to be older mattresses and not as comfortable as some other places we have stayed, as we are used to gel memory foam mattresses, as you could feel the springs in the one were slept in. All in all this was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The fire pit was nice, had a new hottub but we never used it and the elevated deck has a couple of very nice rocking chairs on it. Fantastic location and close to everything on top of the mountain."

"Beautiful home. Easy check in process. Loved the views and the coffee bar. Two wishes: One- that the air conditioner was on for arrival. The house was 87 degrees and my elderly mom couldn’t handle that heat. We had to step out so she could cool down and to let the house cool down.Two- that there was a small dresser or chest of drawers in the entry room, so things could be put away. Over all, our stay was enjoyable and I would stay again."

"Corey’s Bearfoot Beech Retreat on Beech Mountain was an exceptional stay. The quality of the construction is apparent everywhere—you can tell this place was thoughtfully designed and built to last. What’s particularly impressive is how easily accessible it is despite being perched dramatically on the side of a steep mountain slope. You get the wonderful mountain-retreat feeling without having to sacrifice convenience.Corey has also done a terrific job providing all the necessities you could want, but with genuine class and style rather than the generic feel of a typical rental. Everything feels intentional, comfortable, and welcoming.The generous pet policy was especially appreciated. It made Bearfoot Beech Retreat a wonderful place to enjoy the mountain with a four-legged companion rather than merely finding someplace that “allows” one.And then there’s the wildlife! Deer 歷 were frequent visitors, casually roaming up and down the steep slopes of the property as though they owned the place—which, frankly, they probably think they do. Sitting among the trees watching them wander through was one of the pleasures of our stay.Beautiful setting, excellent accommodations, thoughtful host, and a truly memorable Beech Mountain experience. Corey has created something special here. Highly recommended! 拾拾"
