「セコイア、キングスキャニオンの旅行で1泊しました。 1番大きいキッチンやリビングがついているタイプのお部屋に泊まりました。 食器や鍋なども揃っていたので簡単なご飯を作る事ができました。でも、周りに食材を売っている場所がなさそうだったので持参されることをおすすめします。 古さはあり、ドアに隙間があって虫とかは自由にはいって来れそうな感じだったので、虫が苦手な人は夏はきになるかもしれません。 静かな場所なので、夜はぐっすり眠れました。」

「Staff was friendly and told us our room could be noisey due to it being right over bar but should quite down after 11. The noise from bar did , but not from the outside. Street noise and possibly church bells (staff guess when told them) , but really didn’t sound like bells, continued way into the night. The breakfast was just ok. We ordered the traditional. Over easy eggs were greasy, cubed potatoes ( small portion ) and biscuit (only 1 per plate) were hard and cold. Coffee, juice and cereal...

「We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night.」
