「We enjoyed our time in Norfolk! The cottage was a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were available to answer any questions we had. The upstairs area was a great place for our 3 children to spend some time relaxing.」

「older place but very nice and close to the beach」

「If you’re looking for a place for you to have a safe space with your family, young or old, with all the amenities that you would want from your own home this is it. If you’re a veteran, there’s multitude of bases nearby with commissary’s to get groceries for the week to help the budget. 」

「As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. 「The home had so many great features, including the outdoor shower, a fully stocked kitchen, and fun family games to enjoy in the evenings. The neighborhood had a great vibe with plenty of walkable options, yet the house still felt quaint and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We loved every part of our stay!」

「The cottage was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the sunset from the outside porch. We also enjoyed the kayaks and family atmosphere of the community. The closeness to the beach was convenient as well. The dryer may need to be repaired because it runs very rough. 」

「We loved staying at Sandy Mutts ! Communication was great , location and access to the beach was convenient and perfect as well. We only stayed for a couple of nights but it was just what we needed. We brought our chihuahua and kitty along and they were comfortable and happy. We did bring our own towels and it worked for us. I will definitely be coming back. 」

「Wonderful owners with phenomenal communication. They were very patient and super responsive to messages. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Property had everything we needed and more and was steps from the ocean. The beach itself was private and not crowded at all. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely not be our last.」

「This was the perfect house for our family of four! We can to town for a lacrosse tournament and we enjoy having a comfortable place to relax after a day of games. Danna's house is so absolutely perfect and clean. Such a stunningly beautiful home, inside and out. Danna is so thoughtful and we had the most beautiful fresh cut flowers lovingly placed throughout the house. Having the golf cart to go to the beach was handy and fun! We highly recommend spending time at Salt Heir!!! We hope to be back...

"The hotel staff were very friendly and put our worries to rest. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was more than adequate and kept me cool, even though I tend to get hot easily. The only thing that was disappointing was the mildew on the shower curtain. Also, although the hotel may not have been responsible, the screams and loud banging of the guests in the nearby rooms echoed through the night, and I was worried that it might affect the other rooms."
