「It was such a nice getaway for My Wife and I! Pretty secluded other than the house up the mountain but it was far enough away to have privacy! Loved the flowers,birds,fire (which had dried wood and kindling ready) hot tub was so nice on the cool July night. And areas to hike on the property was also nice there was a beautiful view through the trees as a few spots! Loved it!」

「Our family of 6 (age range 20’s to 80’s) enjoyed all of the rooms and porches. The air conditioners kept the home comfortable and the porches were cozy for those who like it warmer. We liked the convenience of being able to make our own breakfasts and dinners here. Having a grill was a bonus.」

「After a short power interruption caused by a fallen tree in town, we got settled in. Very cute small house, with some great local activities. We hiked the loop and up the recommended nearby trail, explored the Grand Caverns and enjoyed the Alpine Goat Brewery. A peaceful and enjoyable stay.」

「Loved our stay at Old Mine Cabin. Adorable home with a fabulous view. The train startled us at first and by the end of the trip it was what we would miss the most. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. The fireflies were enchanting each evening. Proximity to the Shenandoah National Park was perfect for daily trail hikes. As well as a 10 min trip into town for groceries or dinner out. Luray Cavern was breathtaking do not miss!」

「First impressions are everything, we did have good communication with the owner however we arrived 30 minutes prior to our check in time and the cleaning lady showed up right after us so we returned shortly after 4 and she was sitting in her car. The property needs a deep cleaning, (it appears she did barely anything) and overall has been neglected. I will not discuss every small detail because there were a lot! Bad on my part, I did not read the property description all the way to the bottom...
