I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. Great location in Shinjuku and easy access to surrounding areas. Relatively close to Shinjuku station and not a far walk. Laundry is in the unit and the staff changes out towels and makes the beds every day. They also provide extra detergent pods if you run low. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. Easy to walk to Team Lab in Azabudai hills! New neighborhood and it’s so lovely! Beautiful trees, lots of flowers everywhere! Cartier, Dior, beautiful shops! A very delightful hotel located near everywhere we needed to go to.

As many reviewers mentioned, this hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the closest metro stop (Marunouchi Line - M10 (Shinjuku Gyoemmae)). The metro stop is small, but accessible to a number of tourist attractions. The hotel is also about a 15 minute walk to the heart of Shinjuku. The Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is conveniently located close to train stations, shopping, dining and nightlife. The property was clean and quiet. My room was cozy but well-appointed and I liked being able to do laundry in my room. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the hot water was plentiful. I would definitely stay here again but if I were traveling with others would reserve a bigger sized room.

Compact as you’d expect in Tokyo area but jam packed with all the essentials. Location is great being steps away from the subway station and a 10 min walk from Shinagawa Station.(direct Narita Express train from the international airport) There is also a convenience store right around the corner as well as a grocery store near by.
