「The house was in a quiet location at the foothills of a mountain. (Stand on the deck and listen to the wake-up call of a nearby creek. Not to mention, the brilliant stars at night!!) It had everything you needed for a relaxing getaway. Only 3 miles from a quaint, little town where you can be more social, if you want; restaurants, grocery stores, shops and a big park.The host was kind and respectful of those seeking solitude.」

「As long as you are physically able to manage the steps (that the owner includes in the listing) this is an absolutely wonderful couple retreat place. The hosts were very friendly [including their 2 dogs :-)] and helpful, the view across the lake is gorgeous, everything was clean and neat and included all that we needed (or asked for in one case), was great to have the kayaks available to go out on the lake.
