The Cabin at Chichester in the Catskills Mountains

The Cottage at Chichester is six minutes from Phoenicia, just ten minutes to Hunter Mountain and twenty minutes from Woodstock. Nestled between two mountains, with a stream at the rear of the property, the cottage offers a serene wooded setting which is sure to delight. The beautiful new deck features built in hidden lighting, perfect for enchanted summer evenings.

The cottage is kept immaculately clean, nothing less will do for our guests. You'll enjoy the full tile bath with retro style sink, the heart wood floors, modern kitchen and skylights. The night sky is unimpeded by artificial light, the views are amazing!

A lovely little cottage, just as described. Was perfect for a weekend trip for a friend’s wedding in the area. Particularly loved seeing the full guest journals with past lodgers writing memories of stays there back to 2005!Good communication from Paul, and easy check-in and out.

Lovely Cottage

This is a great little cottage! It’s super clean and has everything you need and plenty of space inside and out. Host was terrific to deal with and made the process seamless and simple. Would definitely stay here again as a great place to stay while enjoying all the area has to offer!!

Great communication and stay

This property is amazing and was exactly what I was looking for! We stayed two nights and upon arriving Paul greeted us and was very kind and helpful. The house was clean and everything was as described. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again.

Weekend get away

The cabin was clean and well appointed, well lit which we were grateful as we arrived at night. It was an easy drive to catskill, olana, Hudson and woodstock.

Great little home just off the river

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy but spacious home. Paul was a great host and checked in on us after we arrived to make sure everything was good. We’d stay here again!

Quick visit to Catskills

We had a nice two day stay at the cottage. Very convenient to the town of Phoenicia - enjoyed the Diner for breakfast and Brio’s for dinner. Great hiking nearby. Cottage was perfect for our autumn getaway.

Great weekend in the Catskills!

We had a great stay at Paul's cottage! It is a beautiful property and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just down the road from Phoenicia and a short drive to other great towns and hikes.

Great place to stay near Phoenicia and near the mountains

This is a great place to stay! It is just a short drive in one direction to Phoenicia and a short drive in the other direction to hiking around Kaaterskill Falls. You can hear the lovely sound of the Esopus Creek flowing nearby. The property manager is very nice.

My son and I enjoyed staying at the house while on a trip for ski racing at Belleayre. The house was clean and set up well. It seems like it would be very nice in the warm months. There is no cell service anywhere nearby or even down

Quiet Weekend Away

We were looking for a quiet place to spend a simiple relaxing weekend and this fit the bill perfectly. The Catskills are beautiful and the house and property are nestled quite nicely between two mountains. The property was clean and well kept, we had a comfortble relaxing weekend.

Excellent cottage with convenient location

Everything was perfect for our trip. The owner Paul stopped by to see how everything was going he was very nice and attentive. Everything in the cottage was clean and well set up. Will definitely be back next time we get to go back!

Beauty, Peace, Serenity

A beautiful, peaceful location to enjoy nature, yet be close enough to restaurants and shopping for convenience. We had four days of quiet and serenity in the warm, cozy, "feels like home" cottage. Our Labrador retriever loved exploring the woods and creekside (and barking at the wild turkeys!) Host Paul was attentive and gracious.

Terrific stay in the Catskills

Stayed in the Cabin at Chichester for 2 nights and had a great time. We were unlucky with weather so we weren't able to fully utilize the property, however this made for a nice quiet stay in. Great and friendly communication with the propery owner Paul, who made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back here again next time we need to get away!

Nice and Quiet

Very nice cottage that is well kept and clean. Easy 7 min to Phoenicia and 20 min to Belleayre. The manager is very attentive and responsive to messages and questions. Very nice heat for the winter. Good kitchen for a small family. Also had a nice time running the dog in the yard.
