The Drey - Kensington, Earl's Court

The Drey - Kensington, Earl's Court

10/10 Excellent
"Loved our stay here , the bed and pillows were extremely comfy and the quilt cosy , we were in a room that slept 6 , although adequate I think the room would be too small for 6 , we were a party of 4 , 3 adults and 1 child for 3 nights and had to choreograph our movements around each other, also the room could do with some more hanging hooks and shelf space , maybe floating ones would work as there is a shortage of places to put toiletries etc. I wasn’t keen on the frosted glass sliding door for the toilet and shower and felt there was no privacy with 4 people in the room , a nice vinyl would sort that out , our room was on the ground floor and was quiet so too was the air conditioning, the staff were lovely and welcoming and Earls Court tube was a 3 minute walk away, I would definitely stay at this hotel again but perhaps not as part of a 4 and would definitely recommend."

8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel with a bit of faded charm in a great location, the staff were great and helpful, very polite and offered a free drink in the bar as my room wasn't ready. My room although a "deluxe" room I would struggle to say it was deluxe, the bathroom was on the small side, though perfectly clean but the shower doors didn't close properly so water leaked out of the bottom, also the handles on one of the shower doors was loose, with a quick turn this was solved as was the same on one of the closet door, a quick turn and it was tightened again. Overall a nice hotel, lovely staff, 2 mins from Gloucester Road tube station, I would stay again but would look to book a different room type and request a room at the rear as even though the room had secondary double glazing Cromwell Road is very noisy and busy at all hours."

The Bailey's Hotel London Kensington

The Bailey's Hotel London Kensington

8/10 Good

"We stayed here as a family of three, mainly because of the great location. I’ll be honest, I was a little apprehensive after reading the mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a go — and I’m really glad we did! The location is fantastic, with the museums and Harrods nearby, plus some lovely walks around the area. Our room was clean, spacious enough for the three of us, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern too. Breakfast was okay, with a good selection of the usual English breakfast options, so there was something for everyone. We also really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! There’s an extra charge to use it, but we didn’t mind paying it at all. Our little one absolutely loved it, which made it worth it for us! A special shout-out to Scott, who was absolutely fantastic. He was so lovely and brilliant with our little one. He even gave him a sticker book, which made his day! Scott was always smiling, friendly and approachable, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He’s definitely a star! Sadly, we didn’t get to see him when we checked out, but we really appreciated his kindness during our stay. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with our experience!"
