"初めての利用だと、部屋に入る際戸惑うことがある気がしますが、それ以外は設備も整っており掃除も行き届き、気持ちよく滞在できました。自由に出入りでき、駅近なので色々なお店もあり、立地も申し分ありません。那須に行く際は、また利用したいと思います。オーナー様とは電話でお話ししましたが、感じの良い方でした。ありがとうございました。"

We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort. The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. Breakfast had plenty of options for both Japanese and Western style meals. The lounge area provided all the drinks and snacks and cup noodles we wanted, and we had a very nice walk around, and up into...

guesthouse KOUNDO

Nikko

10/10 Excellent

Our stay at Guesthouse Koundo was excellent. It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. We were kindly allowed to leave our bags early, which was a great help because we had a lot of luggage. The home is kept in pristine condition,...
