It was easy to get an Uber to all the places we wanted to go, but far enough out to be a quiet retreat from the bustle of the city. Would definitely stay again. "Excellent vacation rental. Much nicer than pictured. Mr Schmitt was a very gracious host. He had ready for us, in Engish, valuable information on train schedules, shopping and suggested sightseeing throughout south east Germany. The vacation house is in Moosach, 15 minutes to the train station, and 25 minutes by train to Munich Central Station. We would highly recommend anyone traveling to the Munich area to stay here. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Germany."

"We stayed years ago prior to renovation. Beautiful hotel, wonderful attention to detail preserving the old while totally updating. Staff was so accommodating that if asked a question they would provide not only directions but hours, etc. Best breakfast ever, eggs, sausages, various bread & rolls, sweets, cheeses, even English, and vegan offerings. Table service upscale with waiters for every whim. Room maintained spotless with complimentary bottles of water replaced everyday. Lovely bar area with roaring fire going and soft music in the background, available for both food & drinks."
