"This house was more in the suburbs of Tokyo so you really get the experience of staying somewhere without a lot of tourists. There are two train stations that are within walking distance so getting places is easy. There are many places nearby to pick up food and snacks. The house itself is super cute and clean. "The hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent. Close to shops and restaurants and minutes walk to the subway. The front desk staff speak English which is a plus. The skytree is also within a 20 minute walking distance. Con. The hotel lists a shuttle service but this is a third party service which you have to pay 1200yen per person one way."

"**Great location for Disney, but room storage is very tight** **Pros:** * Fantastic location for Disney lovers—just two train stops away on the Keio line, and the station is only steps from the hotel. It's also an easy 20-minute train ride into central Tokyo. * The daily buffet breakfast was a highlight—delicious, filling, and offered a great mix of Western and Japanese options. * Super convenient with a Lawson and another convenience store right outside. * The staff went above and beyond, especially when helping us book a taxi. > **Cons:** > * Storage space in the room is practically non-existent. There were no dresser drawers or closet space, and the bed frames don't allow you to slide luggage underneath, making the quarters feel very cramped. > * The onsen was closed for maintenance during our stay, and the guest laundry clothes dryers are not very powerful. > * There are very few sit-down dining options in the immediate neighborhood."

Centurion Hotel & Spa Ueno Station

"It's centrally located in the Ameyoko Ueno market and everywhere you go you can find somewhere to eat or do something. And it's only a 3-4 minute walk to the JR Ueno or JR Okachimachi Station. The rooms are *small*. That's a given and for three people with luggage you have to be creative how to position everything so you don't stub your toes. The staff is very very helpful and friendly and they understand English well enough. The lobby and areas are dated like a scene from the 80's but it's accommodating. The only part I didn't get to enjoy was the onsen (I have tattoos and was under the impression it was tattoo friendly and they should mention it in their listings which is why I feel kind of cheated). Free coffee/matcha green tea for breakfast. And the one part I did love was they piped in Elvis tunes in the lobby 24/7. Not young Elvis but the sweaty jumpsuit karate Elvis era which was kind of niche. It was an okay place to stay for the price and location. But otherwise I'd opt for larger rooms."
