"Cons: Tight parking. Rooms a little dated. Bed has center indentation making it a somewhat painful night. Pros: Quiet area. Rooms are pretty sound proof considering that was a live band nearby and we couldn't hear much of it. The family room is quite large with good amount of space for a family of 5. The price was good for a Sunday night compared to the other hotels. "

"We loved the location and convenience of staying here. We ate at the JWB and enjoyed it so much. They also brought a slice of lava cake. I will stay here again. "

"The staff were absolutely fantastic! Easy check in, huge room (yes, they don’t have a towel rack, but the bed was so comfortable I slept so soundly). Everything worked. For the price it really can’t be beat. It isn’t a Sheraton, but it’s safe and convenient and amazingly close to Lake Tahoe. My only complaint was that the room was cheaper on Expedia than being a Choice member, but I don’t think that’s the Econo Lodge’s fault, it’s Choice Hotels (don’t believe they’ll match the price like their website says because they won’t). The staff had no issue with my Expedia booking, however (I have had issue at other hotels). "
