「We were amusement park hopping, so Quality Lodge was our first and last stop before heading home. When we walked into the room on stay 1, the room had a distinct smell to it. Not terrible - but not exactly pleasant either. I couldn't place it until I took off my shoes and realized the carpets were wet.....they had just been shampooed. Not sure if this was routine maintenance or if something had happened with the previous guest. The room for stop 2 smelled more normal. 」

「My kids loved this hotel so much! They enjoyed the waterpark, the friendly staff and characters, and especially the craft room for kids. They thought it was hands down better than Great Wild Lodge. It made our family trip to Cedar Point even better. 」

「I liked this place because it was less than half the money than the last place was at Cedar Point. The staff was very nice. I was 20 minutes early and the staff was cleaning the room. When they were done, I walked in to find a clean room. It needs new carpet for sure. Everything else was fine. Breakfast was continental. So, not proteins, just carbs. I only got coffee and it was great. The lot is a little rough, but it didn't bother me. So, this place is not fancy at all. It was inexpensive...

「Obviously, this is not a 5 start hotel, but I do give it a 5 star rating for what it is - a cheap, family-run motel. The family that own/runs it is so nice and helpful. The beds are comfortable (and I'm a bed and pillow snob). The towels are nice and the rooms all have microwaves and refrigerators. It is a great place to book when you are spending a long, hot day at Cedar Point. It is only a few minutes away. You can check in early for an extra $15 or wait till 4pm. Come take a nap and head...

「Avalon Inn is perfect if all you're needing is a clean place to sleep. It's not the prettiest place. A little rough around the edges. But the bed is comfy and clean and the rooms are cheaper than anything else in the area. 」
