"This hotel was one of the most beautiful we have every stayed in! The grounds were lush, views from our room were breath taking & the staff did everything possible to elevate our stay. We loved the breakfast included, and also thought the location was perfect as it was a 5 minute walk to the main strip of Sorrento. The multiple pools & amenities included took it to another level! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Sorrento! "

"We spent 5 days at the hotel. Staff were excellent, helping with arranging two tours and answering any questions we had. Due to the time of year, central air had already been turned off, so the room remained a little warm, but not overly hot. If there is one area to improve, it would be the mattress on the bed. The current mattress was very firm and somewhat uncomfortable as we could start to feel the springs. Might be time to update the mattress. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Praiano is such a charming town and the La Barbera was a perfect place to stay. Everything was perfect - From the moment we arrived and were guided to the beautiful patio and given an Aperol spritz, to our wonderful room with a comfortable bed spacious bathroom and patio with views for miles, to the wonderful breakfast every morning, and finally, the fabulous staff. Francesco was there to great us every afternoon after our day of adventuring. He made wonderful suggestions for dinner and booked the reservations. Sylvia greeted us each morning for breakfast and provided wonderful advice for planning each day. We stayed three nights and then spent four in Sorrento. We wish we had stayed one more night at La Barbera!"
