"Stay was lovely. Room was clean and staff made us feel welcomed from the beginning. The resort is small, but it is right on the beach which is great for morning walks or bike rides. You can check out bikes from the hotel that is included in the resort amenities. The pool is heated at night and the hot tub is very relaxing with the ocean breeze and the sounds of the waves. We would definitely be returning. "

"Do not bother with this property it is under construction and everything is closed...To get into a $600/night resort you go through a back door. Restaurants closed...terrible should get my money back"

"The location cannot be beat and the property was very well maintained. Although small, there was always plenty of room at one of the pools or chairs at the beach. We will definitely be visiting here again soon. "

"The Fern Grotto Inn was a great location for exploring the island. The hosts seemed to think of everything from laundry to coffee to kayaks. It was a wonderful experience."

"The unit was very clean although the kitchen cupboard shelf liners would leave some ‘lava’ dust on your fingers if you touched them. This was to be expected with the 24/7 breeze blowing through you are going to have dust/dirt. We also thought from photos that we would have a clearer/direct view of the ocean when we were behind the end unit with the direct view but it was still a really great unit."
