Incredible location in the heart of Yaletown, a minutes walk from the Yaletown Docks and surrounded by shopping and great restaurants. Across the street from the Canada Line. The facility is dated, and our room was just okay. The hotel felt clean, but paper menus and other stationery in the room were stained from previous guests, and there was a distinct smell. The restaurant on-site was great, with delicious cocktails and breakfast.

Wonderful stay at the Paradox. Staff was very friendly! Rooms were laid out nicely and comfortable beds. Heated bathroom floors for the extra perk! One suggestion - upgrade the tv service options, add steaming we can log into (Netflix, Disney).

Overall the Sundial is an average place to stay. Pros: - Great location. - Large rooms. - Kitchen included, if you need it. - Nice lobby. - Clean linens Cons: - Dated furniture/carpet with questionable cleanliness. - Parking fees are much higher than last time I stayed here - Hot-tub is only available for 30 minute increments, and water was only warm. - No breakfast - Loud bars nearby which are open until 1am. - Staff felt a bit smug I didn't mind my stay, but ill probably choose a different hotel next time.

Don't go for breakfast before 9 AM. Seb's is the only place open, and it is OK at best.

Go to Whistler for great vista on the way to it and wonderful market. Of course, in winter there are more things to do.
