「The views were great. The room was large, clean and cool. The staff were super helpful and happy to help. We loved the food in the restaurant . Would like to see a coffee machine in the restaurant. Would love to return.」

Property condition felt a little dated and dining options were few and expensive, esp given the indoor option was very small and the hotel has no spirits licence (so only beer and wine available) 」

「We were very impressed with our 4 days at The Zuri Kumarakom. We were surprised to be told that the property is about 25 years old, because it's superb maintenance suggested a much younger age to us. As we rode into the property, we were a bit shocked to see a lot of policemen around. And that turned into panic when they accosted our taxi cab at the hotel porch. 「Bathrooms are gloomy with dim light and no ventilation. 」

「最低のホテル。コンセントはテレビと電子蚊取り線香に使われていてタブレットやデジカメの充電に使用するコンセントがない。マネージャーは町で充電しろという。しかたがないのでタブレットとデジカメの充電で4時間ほどテレビを外して充電するがACアダプターでも、テレビでもプラグを指すたびにコンセントの中でスパークが飛ぶ、よほど粗悪なコンセントなのだろう。隣の部屋との防音が非常に悪く、普通に話す会話やテレビの音が聞こえる。夜間はホテルのマネージャーなどホテル関係者は誰もいなくなるので困る。要するにマネージャーは何も対応しないし、誠意もない。おどし文句さえ言う。このホテルより安いホテルも高いホテルにも今回のインド旅行で宿泊したが、このホテルよりひどいホテルはなかった。」

「Bathrooms were very basic. Shower didn't work. No toilet paper. No wi-fi, though Hotels.com said there was free wi-fi. Bed sheets were dirty. Cook was rude. The sriver was nice and friendly 」

「OMG what a wonderful trip/adventure. The boat cruised around the back waters for about 4 hours. First before we cruised they served us a wonderful lunch. Then while cruising we stopped at a fish market to buy us whatever we wanted to eat for dinner. I bought 6 giant prawns that they cooked up for me in addition to the other chicken dish we had for dinner. Delish!! Vacation time well spent.」

「Not what I expected」

「We had a really poor experience… 1) The bathrooms and washing areas were smelling bad / extremely unclean… the taps were all fully dark and rusty 2) very salty water provided for all washing / bathing. 3) extremely un-friendly staff who were showing absolutely no interest in the welfare of the guests. 4) It was extremely hot during day time, so we asked them to switch on the AC and they said AC will be available only from 9pm. 5) We bought some expensive prawns from the shop they took as to ,...

「Extremely friendly staff who greets you each time they sees you. And they are very accomodating, helping me to book taxis and tuk tuk for my excursions around the area. The rooms are big and clean, very value for money. However, I would love to have them renting out bicycles for people to cycle out of the compound instead of just within the resort.」
