"This spot may not be one of the bigger roykans but is very hospitable. English friendly and onsen is tattoo friendly unfortunately the onsens are incredibly small the outside can only fit 2-3 people and the inside one is barely double that size. Dinner and breakfast were incredible."
"Buffet dinner and breakfast were tasty with food options for everyone. Walkable to Jigokudani Vally, Oyunuma Footbath. Building and rooms are dated and appearing worn."
"Loved the size of the property and living space for 6 people, the quality of the amenities (including private natural onsen!), and the overall gorgeous views. Seriously an amazing place to visit. すごかったです!"
"Beautiful hotel with picturesque outdoor baths and variety of indoor baths and sauna. Huge buffet for breakfast and dinner with variety of Asian food and some western choices."
"If you are a non-smoker, do yourself a favour and skip this place. The hotel uses central air conditioning and the rooms on the non-smoking floor (level 7) smell musky with a stale cigarette stench. We had 3 rooms in my group and all the rooms were the same even when we changed rooms. In addition, most of the service staff were non-Japanese, they could not communicate well and did not appear to be well trained and quite rude. "The hotel is adequate. Our room was spacious enough to make our 5 nights stay comfortable. Its biggest plus is access to the grand baths across the road. On-site bakery is great. There is no reception as such, staff from bakery multi task. The main issue was Wi-Fi or lack of it on the 6th floor."
"Excellent hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights and it was an excellent choice. We had a nice hike after a big breakfast followed by onsen in the afternoon. Hotel was perfectly situated. "

"This hotel is my new favorite hotel. It is understated yet manage to wow me in every aspect. The staff are extra nice. Omi san who practically does the front desk and interpreter went above and beyond to help. He was patient yet thorough. We will definitely return. "
"Very friendly & helpful staff, we should learn Japanese in order to communicate better.
The hotel is luxurious, a bit worn down and needs refreshing.
Excellent location with free shuttle easily accessible"
