"It's a great hotel, but it's disappointing to find out that half the place is under construction and most amenities are not available. Wish that had been shared prior to the reservation and they should not be charging a daily resort fee either. "

Most of the staff were very nice though. Several doors leading outside but were undetermined if useable. Some were exit only. Not much of a gift shop too and very high prices."

"My aunt and I stayed for 3 days. Hotel was perfect walking distance for everything that was on our itinerary to do while visiting Charleston. Would come back to stay again."

We were charged an additional $19 amenity fee at check in that had already been paid through the app and had to go back and forth before it was finally refunded. The first room smelled so bad we couldn’t even stay in it. Staff did switch us quickly, which we appreciated, but the second room still didn’t feel very clean. The bedding and pillows were pretty subpar, and the sheets were rough and itchy enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Definitely not the level of comfort or cleanliness we were hoping for."
