This was by far one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It was wonderful to wake up, grab a to-go breakfast at Lawson’s across the street and walk a few blocks to yamashita park. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We could not believe we got this room for the price we did. It’s easy walking distance to everything you could want in Yokohama. We will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel New Grand is a historical landmark in Yokohama. The location is hard to beat. It’s across the street from Yamashita Park, blocks from China Town, the International cruise terminal, 15 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium and good access to train system.
Only down note is Hotel. Ew Grand needs to upgrade pillows, they were extremely uncomfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room at the amenities that were included. This was a perfect location, 5 minutes.Walking distance to chinatown and the Port.

I asked about evening entertainment in the area and was told there wasn't any only to find out later that this is the The jazz capital of Japan. There are several jazz...

The hotel is newly opened and very modern. Self check in/out system and the rooms are like mini modern apartments with cookers. Washing machine. Refrigerator. A bit TV. Suitable for short stays whether on business or leisure. The Japanese buffet breakfast was lovely. But if that’s not for you. There’s a great bakery in the foyer too....

Location is excellent. Easy to get to from Haneda airport. Cost about $6usd and takes less than an hour. Changed train once but totally doable. Once you get off station exit #3 (for museum), the entrance to the hotel is right there. Please note that exit #3 has no elevator or escalator which could be an issue if you have heavy luggages. Exit #5 maybe an option for people with heavy luggages. You will just walk back a couple of minute to the hotel entrance.
