「Walkable and clean but very disappointed there was no WIFI in the rooms!! Never been in an hotel with no WIFI in rooms. Room facing railroad tracks is very noisy (train) in the early morning hours (5 -6 a.m.) The room was too warm and the thermostat didn’t seem to work so we had to open the window which increased street and train noises.

「Glacier Bay Lodge is several miles outside of the small town of Gustavus, but the destination of choice for travelers to the area, providing an optimal staging place for trips out to the glacier. We hiked the coast on the forest trails running north and south from the lodge. Both trails are extremely well maintained and gorgeous the whole way through. The staff was more than happy to ensure we knew all of the risks in the area and allow us to borrow bear spray just in case things went sideways....
「The history surrounding this building is amazing (in WWII the Army used it as a Hospital!). Check in/out was easy, the beds were comfortable, the ceiling fan was appreciated (summer), and it was fairly quiet. My only request would be for them to stock Orange Pekoe tea (there were many other teas available). Highly recommend staying here!」

「Staff were very friendly and rooms/bathrooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient to the airport. Not a big deal, but trading out dirty towels for clean towels was a little inconvenient, especially if I didn’t remember to do it before leaving for the day and getting back late. 」
