"Room was basic as expected, 1st night (Monday) everything was fine the next morning there was no hot water.
I was given an upgraded room but hot water still not working.
The boiler was down and staff said they had issues for a bit.
Tuesday night still no hot water and was assured it would be fixed in "20" minutes. Then the heat went. Overnights were in the 40's. Again I was assured it would be fixed.
Wednesday still not hot water or heat. Still working on it.
Thursday "no shower since Monday" still no heat/hot water either, they got it "fixed" i then tried the shower ice cold. No heat, either but it would be fixed in "20" minutes as they are working on it.
I then told them to move me which I was not able to move till 3 for their check in.
Got moved Thursday afternoon."
Don't book a place, book an Alaskan Adventure on an 85 foot Super Yacht
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent pace to stay in Ketchikan! If you want something a bit different that’ll add to your Alaskan adventure then this is it! Russell is an amazing host, great communicator all the way through the booking."
"This was a clean, like new property, that was a short walking distance to downtown. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It slept six comfortably. It was well decorated with a SE Alaska theme. I would book again in a heartbeat, and recommended it to friends and family in Ketchikan who may need temporary lodging or for out of town guests."
"The lodge was wonderful and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. We also appreciated the laundry facilities. However, when we first arrived, there two very unfriendly (bordering on rude) employees at the front desk. The person on the desk later was much better."
"We had an amazing stay! Every evening we watched the bears eat a salmon dinner across the way, it is busy in that area with tourist during the day but that is okay we were out most of the day and who can blame them, the hatchery is so beautiful what an experience so we did mind at all. "
