10/10 Excellent

"This is the only hotel with a full kitchen and washer dryer. We really appreciated the dryer after coming in out of the rain. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but it was very convenient to have some breakfast foods in the room and great to have some snacks and a cold drink waiting for us at the end of the day, which we enjoyed by the whale sculpture. There's a grocery store & a Domino's Pizza just a couple blocks away. Downtown was about a 25 minute walk, but very doable. Staff was very friendly, and we used their complimentary shuttle to get us to & from the airport and ferry building. I'd stay there again."

"We read the reviews and knew the hotel was dated but we were pleasantly surprised and pleased by the staff and accommodations. Breakfast buffet was good and filling. We even had AC in our room. Alaska is expensive. Juneau is expensive- everything has to be shipped in by plane or boat. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to downtown Juneau!"

"From check in to checkout our experience there was phenomenal. They were super receptive on the phone to answer questions about their shuttle service. We even had to do a very early morning shuttle at 3 AM for our flight and they accommodated that early time AND included offering us homemade breakfast burritos to take with us because we would be missing the continental breakfast. They had an enormous assortment of snacks and fresh fruit offering bottles of water and free coffee and tea for the entire day as well. We ordered takeout food for dinner and she provided us with plates, napkins, and utensils to enjoy that in the dining room. It was lovely to sit on the front porch and just watch cars go by as well as I could hear bald eagles in the background and ravens in the trees. Beautiful property very clean and probably the best place I’ve ever stayed."
