The location of the hotel, close to historic downtown and on the waterfront was very handy. We could walk to go shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay here again😊"

"So, I must say I loved staying there. BUT, it’s old. Our room was clean and quiet. Tub dripped a bit which I didn’t care about. Window to didn’t shut quite right. The parking lot was nearly unusable cuz they chose not to deal with the massive snow, but they directed me to a lot across the street I could poach if I left by 8am. You can tell it was amazing in its heyday. My daughter (9) gives it full 5 stars. I only rated cleanliness lower because the ice machine on 2 had LOTS of dust on top of it the whole 4 night stay. Ice machine on 4 didn’t work. All that said, I found it lovely and would wholly recommend if you don’t mind a few quirks in a beautiful old hotel that’s got clean rooms and great food nearby."
