"It is a beautiful property particularly in the common spaces (breakfast room, library). The rooms are in need of some work: a few small changes would make the rooms cleaner, brighter and functional. "Great location for exploring Edinburgh, city centre is easily walkable. Arrived late due to transport issues and host was very accommodating. Room was downstairs so no windows, but was clean and a nice place to stay in. Private bathroom wasn’t en suite which wasn’t an issue, but I feel like this could have been made clearer when booking. Other than that, great price for a very convenient location. "
