「What an excellent place to stay. Historic building from 1852. So very convenient to restaurants, shopping, tour pick up sights. The restaurant, Debi's, has excellent food in a great cellar-like atmosphere. Beer/wine provided nightly. We booked the king patio room. It had the perfect private outdoor space. 「Nice hotel. Clean, modern and comfortable. Check-in was fast and easy. The hotel charges $30 for Valet parking but there is a public parking garage right across the alley for about half the price. The hotel location is outstanding and you can walk to all historical sites in the historical district easily. About a 4 minute walk is the tourist information center to start your journey. The room was modern and included a fridge, microwave and Keurig. I would stay here again. 」

「The location is perfect. Carl, the bellman, went above and beyond to retrieve and park my car. He also made sure I had an umbrella when it rained. The property is old with minimal amenities, but it was charming, quiet and felt very safe.」

「We stayed in the Power Plant building. The dinosaur and geologic collection were fantastic. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. First night there was loud music coming from the bar downstairs until 10:30 PM, but at least they stopped on time. We ate breakfast at the Turbine Market & Cafe each day which was very good. Also had lunch at the Savannah Tequila Co. which was also very good.」

「Godley Manor made our stay in Savannah a joy. After all of our daytime travels it was like returning home. Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful making for a wonderful start of the day. Our host was easily reachable and made sure all our needs and requests were taken care of. We would definitely stay here if ever visiting Savannah again. We have told everyone if they visit Savannah to stay at Godley Manor.」
