"Nice and clean "

"As soon as we walked in the front desk lady said I’ll be right with you as she was sitting in the lobby chairs chatting with a friend. We were the only guests in the lobby. After checking in we noticed we did not have bedding for the pullout bed we called down to the lobby and the same lady said come down to the from to get them (hotels usually bring you the bedding). Once it was bed time I pulled back the sheets and they had 4 holes in them large holes! The bathroom has hair all over the floor. Breakfast was supposed to open at 6:30 it did not. Once it did open at 7ish with hardly any food and what was there was old and hard. Multiple guest complained. I travel a lot and have never had a bad experience with Holiday inn. This particular location has lazy questionable staff. I would drive a little further into town for a better hotel."

"I had a terrible experience so bad that I had to request a refund and go stay somewhere else within the first two hours of my visit. Upon arrival they were doing construction, which was not stated anywhere on their website. When I got my first room, they had a horrible smell of chemicals due to the construction so I requested a new room on a different floor.. within the second hour that smell started lingering into that second room and I had a scrambled around, begging for a refund because it’s unsafe to be breathing in chemicals that strong. Staff was a bit rude at first, and when you talk to them on the phone, they promise you special accommodations but when you arrive, they completely switch on what they said. We’ll definitely not be staying here again."

"Older hotel. Jakuzzi was empty and seemed to be non functional for a while. Jakuzzi was one of the deciding g factors for me when selecting hotel, so of course disappointed. "

"We stayed in a king lake view room. The staff was nice, the room was clean for the most part, and the views were amazing. We loved seeing people kayaking and rowing on the lake, hearing birds in the morning, and even coyotes at night. The room thankfully did not smell. That said, we would not stay here again or recommend it. The hotel feels extremely outdated and strangely empty. At times I honestly wondered if anyone else was staying there. The worst part by far was the sewage smell in the halls, lobby, and elevators. It was terrible and impossible to ignore. The property is also very confusing to navigate. The whole place had an eerie, lonely vibe. Even the gift shop looked closed because the lights were so dim, with someone just sitting behind the register reading a book. There were also small misses like no glasses in the room and the fridge being unplugged. The setting is beautiful, but the hotel itself felt neglected, creepy, and far too run down for us to ever come back."

"Staff was very friendly & helpful. We had a maintenance emergency because the shower faucet came off the wall and the water would not turn off. I called the front desk and maintenance came in less than 5 minutes. He fixed the problem immediately. We had been in the room for almost 5hrs and the ac never cooled. I told maintenance & he knew immediately what the problem. He explained the unit was still set for winter. We were in a junior suite & I told him it has not been winter in Vegas for over a month so it didn’t make sense for it to still be set to winter. The property is absolutely gorgeous!"
