「Host messaged me after booking and told me his place was actually unavailable but would not cancel my reservation because he would get charged by vrbo. Very inconsiderate considering the time it takes to get refunded by vrbo - I am still waiting for my refund after long conversations with them. He essentially passes on the fee to me in doing this given the cost of my time to obtain this refund. Do not recommend. 」

「The place was clean and check in was seamless. It is a very basic, no frills apartment. The kitchen has very basic items. Not very conducive for cooking much. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone needing a place to sleep but not too hang out in.」

「The host was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival, as well as a few things during our stay. Was a great place for my family to stay with our two dogs, as well as plenty of room for local family to come for dinner and catch up. Great location with plenty of shops and food choices near by, as well as groceries stores to get stuff for the house. Would definitely stay here again if needed to.」

「This is a no-frills kind of place. The stairway to the apartment is narrow and curved. There is a strong smoke smell in the building corridor which seeps into the living room of the apartment a little bit, but fortunately doesn't reach the bedrooms. The walls are thin, and I could hear bits of conversation and walking around from the upstairs unit. Some things seem not to have been designed with actual comfort in mind - for example, there are flashy LED lights in the ceiling, but no bedside lamp...

「Wonderful experience in a lovely family home with a private apartment snd private entrance. A very nice yard is also available to guests.This is a good location. We had easy access to the Takoma Park area. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to be in this area.」

「Convenient location but no heat the entire stay. Nobody fixed the lack of heat. Power went out in two rooms without repair. No offer to make it right. No direct communication from property owner. 」
