"This hotel is a hidden gem with helpful and friendly staff. Feels like a b&b with cooked breakfast, games area for adults and kids. The staff went above and beyond - helping us with transport to our next destination, making calls (in Japanese) and driving us to our shuttle connection. Rooms were comfortable and warm. It’s about 10mins from the town centre but they do offer pick up and drop offs from the train, and it makes it quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend! "

"Grounds and the buildings in general are very beautiful. The furniture is off-putting. Might be trying to create a “Meiji-era” feeling but it’s comes off strange. The use of all the dark colors is not cheery. A more modern touch would improve the experience. Staff were great. "It was a great stay at Sora Hotel Karuizawa Outlet. Room was spacious and the service staff were warm and welcoming. The lobby area is quaint with a grand piano that guests could play at. It is a dog-friendly hotel, ideal for dog owners and dog lovers. The location is good, less than 10 drive from Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza and there’s free parking on site. "We had a lovely stay at the Karuizawa Marriott Hotel. The room was neat and tidy, and we especially appreciated the wooden flooring, which gave the space a warm and clean feel. It was spacious enough for a family with kids, making it very comfortable for us. The onsen facilities were also excellent, adding a relaxing touch to our stay. Overall, a very positive experience and a hotel we’d happily return to."

"Staff and very helpful. That have shuttle bus to take you down to ski centre and drive you back on scheduled time. Small breakfast variety but at least is complimentary. Super helpful before skiing.
