We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in."

"This cabin was very cute and clean. There is a gas grill and a fire pit, which were not mentioned in the listing, but were a welcome addition. The porch is a wonderful place to hang out. Plenty of space for your dog to play fetch on the property. We found the sleeping quarters a little hot, but the mattress was very comfortable. Great location, 5 minutes from Dupont, 30 from Looking Glass/Pisgah, and an hour from the Parkway."

"Had a great girls vacation with my friends and our dogs. This cabin was the perfect size for the three of us, and it was in a great location for taking day trips to see different waterfalls. Jackie was very nice and let us extend our stay one more day since our Smokey Mountain outing was rained out the day before we were to leave. We loved our time there."
