「This is essentially a lot like camping. There is no refrigerator, the shower is outside on a deck so plan for that when it’s cold, the bathroom is also not in the house. The toilet is in an outhouse in the yard. You may also want to bring extra towels if you were staying more than one day because they only gave us one set of towels. Our lantern, which was our only source of light in our bedroom, in our bedroom was out of batteries. One of the lamps downstairs also did not work. The only way to...

「My husband & I stayed one night at this property on our way home from a beach trip. This studio apartment was super cute & nicely appointed. Also super clean & comfortable. It is also very close to both Asheville & Black Mountain, which we loved! We would definitely book this place again perfect for a couple or single with or without pets (we had our dog with us).」

「Very warm once I made it in. The heat worked very well! Note that the keypad needs the 4 digit code plus the check mark. I didn’t get that info, so messed up my code trying to get in the first time. Kitchen is very nice and fully equipped — seems as though it’s been updated in the last couple of years or so. The Keurig machine didn’t work unfortunately, and so had to wait a couple of days until it was replaced. Other than this, it was a perfect place for me as it was only a couple minutes from...

「There are so many great things to say about this property and host. House is beautiful well stocked with everything you need and more. The attention to detail as to what a guest might need is off the charts. Location is great and easy to find, check in was a breeze. My wife and i were in the area looking to purchase a condo for vacations and seasonal. We were in the house 10min, and my wife said I want to buy this place ..... So that should tell you, you won't be disappointed.」

「We really enjoyed our stay! Jim is a great host and the property was probably one of the cleanest and most well kept of any property we have stayed at. The driveway is definitely steep but you get used to it pretty quickly. The views were just beautiful - pictures just cannot do it justice. Excellent property and we would definitely stay again」
