「We absolutely loved our stay in Kyoto! Mr. Tenaka was a wonderful host. Unfortunately our flight was delayed a few hours and we didn’t get to the Vrbo until almost 11PM, but he was there to greet us anyway and show us his beautiful property. He recommended many places for us to visit/eat and was always available for questions. The property was gorgeous and immaculately clean. We would love to stay here again if we’re in Kyoto! 」

「Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. 」

「まずは美雲様本日泊まらせて頂きありがとうございます。写真通りの外観、否それ以上の美しさでした。もちろん美しさも備わってますが設備も最高です。エクスべディアにて設備部分にwi-fiは書いてなかったのですが、しっかり備わってました。他にもテレビにはNetflixを観える環境が整っていて夜観光から帰ってきたらそのまま映画鑑賞なんかも出来て最高でした✨ 　個人的に1番よかったら所は床暖房が配備されてることです。エアコンだけでは寒い状況でも床暖房で部屋全体暖かくすることができました。　僕は短期で泊まりましたが洗濯機も付いているので、長期休暇とかで利用されるのも良いと思いました。　是非また使わせて頂きたいと思います。この度はありがとうございました。」

「85歳の母を連れて6人で利用しました。事前メールでの入室案内や、駐車場の地図などもあり当日もスムーズに入室出来ました。部屋も綺麗で使いやすく壺庭を見ながらのお風呂は露天風呂気分で気持ち良かったです。自転車も2台自由に使えるのも良かったです。今回は大阪からの近場旅行でしたが、町屋でゆっくり出来て皆満足でした。」

「Loved it, felt like a real local. Washer was a plus and included detergent! Fast responses and overall a great stay :) 9.8/10 a little bit dusty specifically the top of air conditioner but hey, it’s an older place, it was expected and part of the vibe. Recommend if you want to stay in a more traditional place hence the name of the place. 」

「３月にお世話になりました。急遽人数が増えたにもかかわらず、快くご対応くださいました。また、支援割が使えるか確認したところ、とても親身になって調べてくださり、親切にご連絡をいただきました。宿泊施設はレトロな佇まいでしたが、お店の上での宿泊ということもあり、普段味わえない貴重な体験ができました。中庭もとても趣があってよかったです。また利用させていただきたいと思います。」

「建物は古いですが、リノベーションしてあって清潔感もありましたよ。自転車があるので、買い物にも不便なかったです。北野天満宮や金閣寺もすぐ近くなので、場所もいいと思います。住宅街なので、とっても静かでした。コインパーキングも周りに何件かあるので停めやすかったですよー。」

「Excellent home stay experience. Definitely best to stay for 2 nights so you can explore go to the fish market and make traditional food with Hideo the host. Rent a car for ease of transfer there or book it in with the host for his tours. Great remote location nice to experience authentic Japan. Very comfortable sleep on the traditional beds. 」

「Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. 」
