"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is a perfect location for visiting most of the sites in Kyoto. The one suggestion would be to have some variety in the breakfast menu. We stayed for 6 days so it got kinda tiresome to have the same food."

"The rooms are great and quite big by Japan standards. Close to transport. I little bit out of Kyoto central one train stop so nice quite area. Great restaurant just downstairs to use the 1000 yen voucher they give you at check in. Roof top views of Kyoto are amazing. Onsen on premises nice touch. We hired a car and reception gave us a discount voucher for parking just around the corner. All in all great accommodation and the best and cheapest we had in the 3 locations we stayed in Japan"

"Beautiful hotel. The location is prefect and the subway station is located very closed to the hotel, so catching the tubes was easy. Breakfast was delicious and they had a very wide variety for everyone. I will definitely be come back and staying here again."

"Quiet room after a long day of tours. Super clean room , bigger than other rooms in Japan. Bathroom and a shower with excellent water pressure. The shampoo, body soap and conditioner were fancy. There was a fridge and a water kettle. TV and AC. Recommended."

"The hotel had a wonderful apartment-style setup, including a kitchenette that made it easy and convenient to prepare our own breakfast. We especially appreciated having two toilets and separate bedrooms, which worked perfectly for our family since we were traveling with our adult daughter. The location was convenient with 7-11 nearby, food options, with a wonderful small Italian inspired cafe next door- with excellent cappuccino. It was also also within a short walking distance of Nijo Castle and the Anime museum, making it easy to explore the area. The only downside was the sliding door to the main bedroom. It tended to stick and was quite loud when opening or closing. Unfortunately, this sometimes woke us up when we needed to get up to use the bathroom during the night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the spacious, home-like setup and convenient location."

"Everything was great overall, with two exceptions. The tea ceremony invitation did not clearly mention the additional ¥7,500 fee, and the experience was disappointing for the price: instead of a guided ceremony, we watched a video and prepared the tea ourselves in a basic private room. The in-room washer/dryer was convenient but took an extremely long time to complete a cycle. Aside from these issues, we really enjoyed our stay."
