"Favorite hotel, it was so clean and nice. The room was very spacious. The hotel was located by the train and lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Definitely going to go back to this hotel."

"Staff were very helpful! I didn’t like the pillow in the room and asked for a different kind and it was provided to me by the time i got back to my room! I was very happy about it as i had headaches for the first 2-3 nights. We paid for breakfast and it was pretty good! The only thing i tried and didn’t like was the scrambled eggs. They were a little soggy and undone. Maybe some people will like them, i personally like it well done. Rooms were very clean! Loved the shower and the toilet that flushed on its own once you get up. I mean i love Japan. There is nothing bad i can say for anywhere we went. Will differently come back to this hotel if ever back in Kyoto!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke English, which is especially convenient for travelers who haven’t learned much Japanese yet. The traditional Japanese-style breakfast was absolutely delicious and easily one of the highlights of our stay. The staff serving breakfast were wonderful as well and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is also incredibly convenient—the train station is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to get around and explore Kyoto. And lastly, the onsen was fantastic! It was clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Between the wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, convenient location, spotless rooms, and relaxing onsen, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Kyoto!"

"Stayed 2 nights in September 2026. Location was excellent. Walkable distance to Nishiki and other major shopping districts. In house choice for Italian/ Japanese / Mexican cuisine is great and convenient. The Gym was a little challenge to find. Overall an excellent stay. Will not hesitate to come back."
