「We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!」

「WOW! What an adorable 2 bedroom with everything you could possibly need! Very clean with a great ambiance! Check-in was a breeze upon arrival. Comes with a parking spot! A great location with so many good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and a walkable distance down to the pier and shopping. Megan and Jason were so easy to work with and terrific welcoming hosts! They made you feel at home and were super helpful! When we make it back to Maine, we will be staying here again! Thank you! :)」

「Ryan's house/apartment was perfectly located for us in terms of proximity to the Old Port area of Portland AND a large park to walk our dog in. I am recovering from major surgery and low demand exercise was critical to that recovery. Ryan's house filled all our needs. One consideration. The apartment (spacious - just as described) is on the second floor so climbing one flight of stairs is required to access the living space.」

「Great spot in downtown— walkable to most spots. Very clean and new and had everything we needed. The hosts were great communicators and had a nice welcome packet with tons of info. Awesome that they were dog friendly and even had a tennis ball for our pup! Would stay again!!」

「There was dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, the TV and internet didn’t work and the host didn’t get back to us very fast, the floor was dirty, but overall it was a good place to stay for a few days.」

「We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter.」

「It was the best view of Casco Bay and such a unique home. Beautiful accommodations that are both historic yet updated for comfort and convenience. Our host was phenomenal! So friendly…we thought he was one of our neighbors from Louisiana (not just because of his homemade hot sauce that he sent home with us, but more importantly because of his hospitality!)」

「We had 5 people staying at this Portland property. It was very clean and the perfect space for 5 of us. I like that they had AC units in each bedroom. It was updated and had all the essentials we needed, including linens and towels which was great because we were coming from NJ so it made it convenient. It was also very close to downtown where all the great restaurants and bars are. I would recommend this property....Thanks David!」

「The property has a lot of potential. There is no sandy beach access on the property , just the long dock area. Not sure if another party left right before we arrived, beds were made and it was tidied , but could have used a better overall cleaning. (Floors , countertops, mopping etc.) Definitely a campground feel. Overall beautiful views and had a wonderful stay .」

「The lake was beautiful. The house was very nice and had all you needed for vacation. We rented extra kayaks for the family to use and they had a ball. John, the owner, was terrific. If we needed something he was right there to assist. We all said we would go back. Bob」
