"Upon arriving in a rainstorm Google Maps led us to an affiliated garage next to the hotel. There were signs to get to the lobby, but the stairway was chained off. After calling reception I was guided to the hotel basement but not without exposure to the rain. From the basement it was difficult to find the elevator. Signage throughout this process was misleading and inadequate....Also misleading were the hidden costs: parking $20/day; no complimentary breakfast items - we grabbed some coffee, 2 pastries, and 2 fruits for a cost of $37.50. "

"Our stay was fantastic to celebrate my birthday with my BFF! The Margaret Suite was even lovelier than pictured and it was such a nice spot to enjoy a couple of nights in Portland. The views are spectacular, and the comfort of the suite was perfect. It was very well appointed with everything needed to make our stay a great memory. So easy to deal with Scott and Karen and they had everything down to a T. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again. It was smack in the middle of all that the old port has to offer and then some. Thank you again, Lisa"
