"The property has a lot of potential. There is no sandy beach access on the property , just the long dock area. Not sure if another party left right before we arrived, beds were made and it was tidied , but could have used a better overall cleaning. (Floors , countertops, mopping etc.) Definitely a campground feel. Overall beautiful views and had a wonderful stay ."

"The lake was beautiful. The house was very nice and had all you needed for vacation. We rented extra kayaks for the family to use and they had a ball. John, the owner, was terrific. If we needed something he was right there to assist. We all said we would go back. Bob"

"The kitchen was very well equipped. Living room was so cozy with the fire. Bed was super comfortable. The unit has really tall ceilings and is cozy. Only issue was the dog upstairs. They kept barking and whining."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!"

"I’ll just start with I’ve never been more at peace leaving a vacation. the kayaking, paddle boating, canoeing did not go to waste,as we found our city selves doing it EVERY DAY! "The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?"

"This property was perfect for our group of 10 girls!!! It was much bigger than I was even anticipating, beautiful home and very clean. *Very* safe and nice neighborhood, which was incredibly important for us girls. The hot tub was the best part and the fireplace was great too. No complaints with our stay at all, though I wish it was a walking distance to downtown. It was about a 10 minute car ride so we ubered for our stay which worked out pretty good and was still cheap! The host lives upstairs...

"We had a very nice stay and enjoyed both the cottage and property. It was a bit rainy, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the fire pit area, but it looked great. There are a few places that could use some updates, but this is a true lake cottage, so it's really like elevated camping."
