"The Fives hotel I’m sure used to be nice but it’s not being maintained well. For example, stains and scratches on all the furniture and flooring, peeling wall coverings. Not just in the room but throughout the hotel. I wish I had thought to take a picture of the 2nd fold out bed. It was ancient and sagging and no one could sleep on it. But it did make a nice place to lay out my suitcases. The room had a kitchen but no dishes or silverware or barware or anything. I went to the front desk to ask for two wine glasses and the said they could not provide them to me. I found out on the last night that for an extra $25 you could get plates and glasses and stuff. I had difficulty finding seating in the pool area and it was nearly impossible to get staff attention to help me out. Towels were left on the lounge chairs and no one kept track of whether the chairs were occupied or not. However, the location is great and the food and drinks were excellent. I had shrimp tacos and they among the best I ever had. I also had a cucumber margarita and it was really good. The buffet for breakfast was not appealing. I ordered avocado toast from the menu with a poached egg and again, very, very good. I would hang out there for happy hour but probably not stay there again. "

"We loved everything the only thing was the time for cleaning it was around 4pm which we find it uncomfortable, And we could hear the noise from the clubs, Beautiful rooftop i was just not liking the music but it’s my personal opinion, i have preferred more chill during day and afternoon could be more party music not all day party music "

"This is a gorgeous resort., the architecture on their buildings are stunning. We had a partial ocean view, which was lovely and overlooked the property and part of the ocean. The restaurants are all top-notch and the food is excellent. The entertainment around the pool is fun and the service there is excellent too. Enjoyed our five days thoroughly and we will be back. "

"Always a quiet and relaxing experience at pasión. I’ve been coming here for 2 years and I have no reason to try something else… Saturday night might get a bit rowdy with the music but hey that’s part of playa.. also, heater broke but I didn’t care for hot water anyways.. they were working on it but then I left.. cheers and I’ll be back "
