「So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical.

「Lovely stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking and very easy to check in (just send a message on here or contact the property directly to advise of your arrival time.) The breakfast was really great and there is lots of options for all diets. Room was spacious and clean, bed was really comfortable. There is also a fridge under the stairs for guests to use which is very thoughtful. Plenty of parking right outside. There’s a few restaurants and a supermarket a short walk...
「We had a lovely double room with a sofa bed for our boys. The room was spacious with a lovely ensuite. Breakfast was delicious and included gluten free options. A nice climbing frame/ slide in the garden. Friendly staff.」
「I forgot to ask for two single beds. I asked for it at the front desk and they had it ready for me. The front desk staff was very courteous and appreciative. Breakfast is also very good.」

「Beautiful hotel and grounds with an outside dining facility. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming, especially Fay on reception. Good food. Downside no lifts and no fridge or facility to phone reception from bedrooms, otherwise a perfect stay for our requirements and would book again.」
「The place was great to spend time in and relax. Walking in the new forest is just across the road. Great to just be able to switch off for a while.

「Vieil immeuble, mais les chambres ont été rénovées. Elles sont compactes, mais toutes les commodités y sont. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, alors pour un séjour d’une nuit, il faut prévoir un bagage à mains contenant tout ce qui est essentiel, surtout si notre chambre est au 4e étage. Le personnel est avenant et nous avons très bien mangé au resto (dîner et petit-déjeuner). 」
