"We had a really lovely stay here over the weekend. The staff were fantastic — friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful — and the hotel itself was lovely. I’d noticed some of the less-than-great reviews before staying, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Yes, the hotel is a little dated in places, but honestly, if you’re travelling around New Zealand, that’s hardly unusual — especially in Rotorua! For us, it was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and the staff really made the stay. We were very happy with our experience and would happily stay again. 😊"

"The hotel is clean, tidy, modern and conveniently located. There is not one bad thing I could say about the state of the hotel itself. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One disappointing matter however is the fact the TV did not have Netflix (or other streaming apps) available - nor was the TV connected to the internet so you couldn’t download the apps onto the TV or screen mirror/share from your mobile. We were stuck watching regular TV."
